The home of the ratty blue 1960 Land Rover
Welcome to the website of Douglas, the 1960 Series 2 88 Land Rover, owned by Alys Rackham-Wyatt - who both reside in Norwich, England.
Douglas was bought on a sunny Sunday morning in April 2009, 470 miles away in Scotland and then driven to his new home in Norwich.
Since owning Douglas, Chris, Alys' (now) husband, has fitted a 200TDi engine, parabolics, a new gearbox and tidied the ol'rat up a bit to make sure he survives another 50 years!
Anyway, the purpose of this site isn't really clear yet - but, it will hopefully be a home for all of the stories, pictures and general happenings of Douglas and the other Land Rovers he meets.
